  • This recruitment round there are two vacancies for the joint Acute Care Common Stem – Emergency Medicine ST1 process: one covering all programmes in England, Scotland and Wales and a separate one for all programmes in Northern Ireland. Applications will only be considered for one vacancy so you should ensure that you only apply to your preferred one. The Oriel system will not prevent two applications being made, and at the closing date, any applicants that have a live (i.e. not withdrawn) application to both vacancies will have the first one submitted withdrawn with no option to change their preferred application. I have checked that I have applied to the vacancy covering my preferred area of the United Kingdom.
