Information on the content and structure of your specialty training application portfolio.

All specialty training interviews will continue to be held online during the 2023-24 recruitment year. Specialties that had previously used portfolios or evidence folders as part of the interview process may use online self-assessment evidence instead. This is usually a two stage process:

1. Complete the self-assessment section of the application form, scoring yourself against several domains by selecting the most appropriate response from a list of options.
2. Uploading documents to act as evidence to verify that you selected the correct responses in the self-assessment section.

Not all specialties used portfolios in the past and not all specialties use a self-assessment section on the application form.
