The Paediatrics National Recruitment Office (PaedsNRO) at NHS England - Midlands is coordinating the national process for recruiting trainees into Paediatrics ST3 posts in the United Kingdom.
Paediatrics is the specialty that manages medical conditions affecting infants, children, and young people. It is a large and diverse branch of medicine with areas ranging from acute sub-specialties such as neonatal medicine and paediatric intensive care to community-based sub-specialties such as neurodisability.

The expected outcome of the training programme is CCT/CESR/CESR CP, subject to satisfactory progression and completion. Information on the length of training programme (subject to level of entry) can be found on the RCPCH website.

All medical practitioners have been added to the Shortage Occupation List in the UK. This means that all medical practitioners are exempt from the Resident Labour Market Test (RLMT) and can apply for any specialty in any recruitment round, subject to eligibility.

The expected duration of the programme is for an indicative 5 years however the actual duration may depend on the circumstances of the individual.
