Specialty Training Fill Rates - ACCS Emergency Medicine CT1/ST1

In 2024 97.04% of the 371 posts available in ACCS Emergency Medicine were filled. This is a decrease in the fill rate compared to 2023 when 99.73% of 372 posts were filled. Please note – applicants choose their specialty training route (CT or ST) after the offers stage of applications.

At a national level the fill rates for 2024 are as follows:

  • England – 96.46% of 311 posts were filled (300 filled posts, 11 unfilled posts). 
  • Wales – 100% of 17 posts were filled. 
  • Scotland – 100% of 31 posts were filled. 
  • Northern Ireland – 100% of 12 ST1 posts were filled.
